Cast contact heating plates are often installed in the pre-heating station. This technology has been in use now for more than 20 years.

   -  Your experience has shown that this area has the largest influence on the quality of the
      cup forming.
   -  Our experience has shown that, depending on the system in place, the temperature can
vary by more than 8°C during operation.

Our goal here is to limit the temperature variation during machine operation to a maximum of
2°C. In addition to the design of the drive system, this is the basis for a trouble-free cup forming.

Our sandwich heating plates are composed of the following parts:

   -  contour plate
   -  concealed coil silicone heating elements
   -  cover plate

Each part can be replaced separately.

We recommend the installation of servo drives for the heating station. With our compact linear drive units it is possible to have servo-driven profile movements on almost all machines designed originally with pneumatic movements, for example.

The advantages are:

   -   possibility to modify the pre-heating station on the majority of machines
   -   consistent movement sequences
   -   reduced energy requirements (no compressed air)
   -   reduced maintenance
   -   no extra lubrication
